Alternatively is there a way to stop it auto updating? DisplayLink who provide the USB video technology in this product have a knowledgebase article linking to the latest host controller driver versions, and this could solve the issue. Click on Download option and download the latest driver. Toshiba, coincidentally a notebook netdork as well, has released an improved method and builds upon the traditional features of a docking station, but removed the proprietary aspect.

They have TWO files, one for display link, and the one I was eager to download.

The more I'm dissappointed that it does not play together. Similarly the audio cable. After my first attempt I got the message that the drivers on the CD could not be installed on this operating system.

Was it working before? The audio and Ethernet driver is not supported somehow.

I tried to locate Ethernet and audio drivers on the CD that came with the U3. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why these won't install or work.

After the upgrade I had problems with the sound. Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. Toshiba, you really need to look into this, the whole point of a Dynadock is gone when you have to manually connect audio and RJ45 ethernet each time.

I called Dell support and they walked me through uninstalling of all the docking station drivers and then reinstalling. These docking stations are generally model or series nerwork so when you bought or were issued a new notebook, you needed a new docking station.

So far, so good. Is this a windows configuration problem or toshiba dynadock or DisplayLink? When attempting to find driver it cannot be located anywhere.
